The Graphic Design and Marketing Society create marketing and graphic design courses designed to help further students’ career prospects. This project saw me create an ebook of essential information for the ‘Fundamentals of Digital Marketing’ course.

the project

The timescale of the project was 1 week, but at the time I have been working with GDMS for one month.

I delivered a 52 page PDF and a 3-image carousel post for social media.

The target outcome was to make valuable information easily accessible. We sought to empower students by enabling them to learn skills useful for improving their career prospects.

The process

The software I used was Illustrator, Photoshop and Trello.

I developed my skills in InDesign and book layout.

Working with the GDMS team on this project taught me the importance of keeping an open line of communication with the team.

We communicated via Google hangout and email.

achievements

The metric we used to measure success was downloads of the ebook and positive feedback from course participants who used it.

We achieved over 100 downloads of the ebook and 100% positive feedback.
